Do what feels right to you and you won't be wrong.
My heart goes out to you and your family. It's hard to lose someone who loves you unconditionally.
we rescued him a couple of years ago, and he had already had cancer surgery, seems like it may have metastasized ... so we are going to say goodbye to him
later today ... not flying out ... trying to figure out what to do.

Sorry Larry - it's the heartbreaking part of having pets. Looks like he had a couple of great years with you though.
So sorry to hear about your dog. We just had a scare with ours with a malignant tumor that we hope was successfully removed. They become such an important part of your life.

Oh my gosh, so sorry for your loss!!! We can all postpone our excitement for your ED until you sort things out. Just having put down a pet, take your time with him.
I'm so sorry to hear Larry. He is a lovely dog. Just remember the life you gave him as a rescued animal. I rescued mine 5 years ago, and Jack is a wonderful golden retriever. He is sleeping at my feet now as I write this. And like you, I think a car is just a car but these animals are family.
Sorry to hear about the dog. Dogs are the best and to be treasured for the short time they're with us.
My condolences.

I'd love to do a Porsche ED. The problem for me is that I only drive the car 7 months a year and I'm not willing to give up the two months it would take to ship home after drop-off.
Don't remember exactly but the pics are cool. For ED, a February pickup is an option as you'll have the car stateside in April. Winter in Germany and Austria can be fun.
Condolences...you did what was necessary and you've got great memories...safe travels...wondering if you'll take a run on the Ring now???
That's basically what I am going to do, collect the car Monday and head to the Ring for the evening tourist laps Monday and Tuesday, I fly back Wednesday

I took a look back at the old site. It was another member who was looking for pics of the LCI's SSK. I'm older now. Memory's fading . . .
I've never really thought about a winter ED. That really could be interesting. Heading south to Italy can never be a bad thing.
