I have family in Southern California and spent a lot of time there. If I was buying a car for there I'd go Mexico Blue, no question. Ultraviolet second choice. Of the colours the OP named Carmine Red. Attitudes in the UK are a little different, so the ratmobile will be Jet Black Metallic.
Another option to consider is wrapping the car. I'm going to do this in some kind of blue after a while, as I agree with the folks on here who think blue goes best with the black GTS accents (including the cab roof). The advantage of a wrap is if you get bored of it, you can change the colour for not, in the brand-new-Porsche scheme of things, much money, and there are some pretty wild wrap colours out there...
