Here is substantial distortion in the rear glass of my '15 Taga 4s. What is everyone else's experience?

It's a big piece of curved glass in the back, most all curved glass WILL have considerable distortion. Compare to another Targa and if yours seems excessive then you can make a warranty claim. The new glass could be better - or worse than your existing one.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'distortion.' The view out of the back of mine is fine. I agree you may want to compare with another targa to make sure everything is ok. I have a 15 as well.

Finding another Targa to compare where I live is not all that easy. My special order was the last Targa allocation my dealer could get. There is a horizontal waviness that distorts the view of cars behind. A following car can appear to have a greenhouse twice as tall as the rest of the car. It affects the ability to judge the distance of a following car.
