991 pedal height and steering wheel
Hello All:
I recently picked up a 991 GTS. Great car!
I find the clutch and brake pedals to be too high, and the clutch has a long travel. Are 991 pedals adjustable like older 911s? Also, any way to get the steering wheel higher than the current electronic stop? I did a search to no avail. Thanks!

Yeah, I thought the clutch was high too on the GTS I test drove. I was ok with the brake pedal height, but with my left foot just resting on the clutch, my knee was hitting the steering wheel. Thought that was weird.

I have the same issue. The pedal box is narrow in addition to the high pedal.... long legs don't help. Interestingly, with the clutch fully depressed my leg and foot are fully extended.

my lap hit the steering wheel every time i release the clutch.
it got in the way a few times while i was turning...
if i sit lower and more flat, i don't have the problem, but i don't like the view
and i like to sit up high.
any suggestion???

yes, i moved it to the highest, but my lap still hit the steering wheel when i lift the clutch.
it is strange that the clutch is so high... i can't roll my ankle to modulate the clutch, i have to move
my whole leg....

Pardon me but I am speaking kindly. This is an egregious error on the part of Porsche. I have owned six with 5 being MT. Four of these were 911. NO PROBLEM! I sold my 2013 PDK since I missed MT and ordered a MT GTS. This is unbelievable. I received the car on May 7. I am still working on the coordinated position of the steering wheel and the seat so that I can: (1) accomplish ingress and egress with little discomfort and stress and (2) shift so that I can work the clutch comfortably yet not miss gears and start from a dead stop without stalling. To accomplish this, my current success is to lower the seat forward and raise the wheel upward. I can now get in-and-out of the car. The downside of this position is that I cannot see over the top of the steering wheel through the windshield nor can I see the complete dashboard. Yes, I am 5'8" but I have been very successful in my other Porsches. If anyone wishes to respond, please do so constructively and refrain from unkindness. That is not constructive.

I too find the pedal too high and the travel too long. Hence my problem with missing gears and stalling. I am still trying to deal with the tilt of the wheel and the tilt of the seat. At 5'8" I am one of the height-deprived that needs wooden blocks but that will not help.

I am 5' 9". I have the wheel at the top of its range vertically and with the comfort access setting have no problem getting in and out of the car. Fortunately for me, at least, my car has the best driving position, best seats (18 way) and best clutch/gear lever operation and positioning that I have ever experienced. Yes, the clutch pedal has a fairly long travel but its release point and action are superb IMO. Everything works synergistically for me. I am sorry that the OP is struggling to getting comfortable.
