(Shrug) The car serves me. I don't serve it. When on a 3,000 mile road trip with 400 miles between fillups, snacks and drinks will be consumed as in any other car.

How dainty! It's a car to me. mine is always garaged at home but not always clean. I eat EVERYTHING i want to and drink anything I want to. This GTS is my 10th Porsche. I barley drove the first one on a bumpy road much less ate or drank in it. I mean--it is a car.

Cars are meant for driving, not eating in. They're hard enough to keep clean minus food crumbs/spills/etc..

Leave the eating to the dinner table or restaurant.

There's nothing like the smell of spilled coffee and spoiled cream in a car.
God I hate that.

It's a slippery slope, allow one item, then another, next thing you know, clutter, dirt, stains, funk, etc. My Porsche is my refuge from the wife and mother in law induced clutter of the house...T

Once tried to eat a Big Mac in my Escort while blasting thorough the Cali desert at 80 mph. Windows down since Escort's A.C. sucked. Think I was picking lettuce out of the carpet, seats, etc. four months. Let my nephews eat M&Ms in the same car when they, and the car, were young. Mistake. So, now, zero tolerance on food and drink, except water....T

My daughter ate her cheerios in the 991, and has her snacks in the 997 when I pick her up from school. Anything that can be vacuumed out is fine with me.
