Default Lowering the 991S

Have decided I would like to lower my 991S to the same specs as the PASM Sport suspension. Looked at various aftermarket springs and seems Eibach Springs would be the ones that lower the car the closest to SPASM. Still concerned with the progressive vs. linear and PASM failure I decided to search for the OEM Sport springs and this is what I found. Porsche offers three sets of front springs for the 991S non AWD,
Front:
1) 991-343-531-10-504 W/O AWD, W/LIGHT BLUE/YELLOW-GREEN MARKS,
2) 991-343-531-08-504 W/O AWD, W/YELLOW-GREEN/BROWN MARKS,
3) 991-343-531-06-504 W/O AWD, W/ORANGE/FIRE RED MARKS,

REAR

1) 991-333-531-10-504 W/1 ORANGE & 1 YELLOW-GREEN MARK,
2) 991-333-531-03-504 W/1 YELLOW-GREEN & 1 ORANGE MARK
3) 991-333-531-05-504 W/1 LIGHT BLUE & 1 YELLOW-GREEN MARK

They do not specify which one is the PASM Sport spring set. I did figure our the Struts are the same for both cars. Springs are different for 4/4S

Does anyone know which spring set is the one for the Sport Suspension? I feel more comfortable going this route than the Eibach.

Many thanks.

Thanks, but C4 springs are different given weight differences.

Also front and rear springs have different markings, so must look at both.

But again, thanks for posting, that way we can get to know which is which for all models.

Default SPASM spring....

Hey, here's a picture of mine with SPASM...
...personally, think the Eibach or GMG looks better.
Might want to consider Elephant Racing, they have a coilover kit that uses linear Hypercoil springs...think that's the route I'm going sometime.

Hi Slantnose, thanks, looks like the Front one is the 991-343-531-08-504 Yellow, Green, Brown.

Do you mind posting a picture of the rear?

I will check the Elephant Racing Route, and also I am a buyer of your spring set if you go that route.

Btw, looks like you have PDCC, is that correct? My setup also has it.

Thanks

Sure...but not really seeing any markings, maybe green & blue?

I lowered my 991S with the KW Height Adjustable Springs which works with the PASM. I'm selling those in case you are interested since I sold the car last year. PM if you are interested.

Adjustable Springs, or full coilover that are PASM compatible like the Bilstein Damptronic?

Adjustable springs. I wanted to retain the factory PASM, but also wanted more control than just TechArt springs, etc..

What was labor? I just quoted with Vertex Auto in Miami, they said by the book 12 hours (a bit much IMO), so around 1200 plus alignment, 175.

The H&R are a bigger drop than the Eibach which are a little more than SPASM.

If anyone has the color codes for the rear SPASM springs, please post it. We could not see the Marking on Slantnose's rear coil.

dear god those are expensive for a set of (height adjustable) springs, but I suppose its about 1/2 the cost of a full coilover system like Damptronics.

3 hours per corner! If it's the same group, they installed springs on my Cayman S years ago when I lived there. I wouldn't let them clean a matchbox car after that experience. That being said, that is way too much for a spring install. I also would never just do springs ever again if you care about anything but looks. Jmo
