Sit in both, for sure.
Do you have small kids, or the guy from Game Of Thrones sitting in the back seats? The 18 way take up more rear seat space. FYI.

Most who bother to reply will laud the 18s. It's a nice seat, for sure. I opted for the 14s for one reason -- I've had sport seats with the shoulder wings in my last two Porsches, and they just don't fit me well. The wings always feel like they're making me round my shoulders forward, like I'm slumping over a computer. The seats look great, for sure, but that was a deal killer for me. I finally said no more after having them in my current Turbo, so that ruled out the Alcantara. But I had ruled that out anyway.
So I think you made a great choice!

Cannot comment on the 14 ways but the 18 ways are the best seats I've ever been in.(6'3" 215 lbs) Also, cooling & heating features are superb. T

hmm. I have the 14 way seats and the side bolsters had some wear when I bought it (~9200mi) and perhaps a slight bit more wear showing now at ~20k miles. If (ok, when) I get another one I would probably want to try the 18 way- I think the extra '4 ways' are being able to move the bolsters in & out and perhaps that would help reduce the wearing.
