I tinted mine, 35%. I think it looks sharp with the glass roof. I tinted my Agate TT as well as my previous car, a white C2S.

I used Taravella Tinting. They came to my house and did the job in my own garage. Cost was about $200-225, if I recall.

+1 for tint all 5 windows or none at all.

Limo tint.... 5% all around. Looks good with the black metallic paint.

5% is way too dark...30-35% is the norm

Since you don't need it for heat control (and since GSIRM3 is exactly correct -- you also don't need it for UV control), I will cut through all the wrong opinions above and tell you, as a friend...

Don't. This is a beautiful car. If it needed darker tint, Herr Porsche would have given it darker tint. If it was a slammed Civic and you were a stance bro, it would need a darker tint. I do you the courtesy of assuming you are not, so I repeat: Don't do it.

There is another option that we used on my wife's car to block infrared to reduce heat. 3M Crystalline. It works extremely well and doesn't interfere with GPS or cell. Slight tint, but seems reflective when viewed from the outside so there is some feeling of privacy but no apparent reduction in visibility at night. What surprised me the most was not needing sunglasses on our bright gray spring days here in the Seattle area. I've decided to do all five windows on our 991s cab.

NoGaBiker has a good point. Dark tint makes you super ghetto and will convert your 911S into a slammed Civic. FYI

Here's a picture of my 35% tints on the side and rear windows. As you can see, it's not too dark, but offers a bit more privacy and I do think it complements the glass (dark) roof nicely. Just my opinion, and as the responses to this thread have shown, a tint isn't for everyone.
