Default Question about build schedule

My Targa is finished being built but I'm still curious: what are "CT vehicles"? In general, what are the steps between V260 and V300? Based on the dates below, it seems my car went through this steps but I don't know what they are.

V260 - Vehicle entry to body shop (CP 0.0) 03/20/2015 03/20/2015 03/19/2015
V270 - Vehicle exit production (CP 7.8) 03/27/2015 04/03/2015 03/30/2015
V280 - Vehicle entry to CT-assembly (only CT vehicles) 03/27/2015 04/03/2015 03/30/2015
V290 - Vehicle exit of CT-assembly (only CT vehicles) 03/27/2015 04/03/2015 03/31/2015
V300 - Vehicle completion (CP 8.0) 03/27/2015 04/03/2015 03/31/2015

Next stop: Emden!

Thanks.

Cool! How did you get that info? Mine was completed last Tuesday (24th) but I only know because I stopped at the dealer that day and SA pulled it up on the magic computer and said, "well I'll be damned." It was scheduled for Friday.

But is there a way to track it without the magic computer?

Sadly, same as you: I asked the dealer to send it to me. Next time I bug them it'll be to get the name of the ship my car is on. At that point, my poor family is going to have to put up with me tracking the ship. It's too bad it doesn't come into Oakland, as we live in the hills above the docks.

If your Targa has EXCLUSIVE options i.e. carbon fiber, etc. That is where your car is headed. Then to port Emden for its ride home.

I've sworn I'm not going to stoop to stalking the poor ship. This time last year I endured a mere 6-week wait on a lovely Wrangler I built, and some bright fellow had figured out how to hack the production website and translate those codes; I spent hours just staring at that stupid thing, willing the Jeep to get built, willing it to move off the lot, willing it to get on the truck, off the truck, out of the distribution lot, up to the dealer.

This year I'm going to remain true to my word and just chillax till one day I get a call out of the blue telling me to haul my *** down to the dealer and pick up this car before they sell it to somebody else.

Gonna be tough to CHILLAX. It's like being a 6 year old waiting for Santa to get to your house. Painful excitement!

Ha! That's funny: I said almost exactly the same thing the day I submitted my final order. It lasted about five days. Fortunately, delivery isn't too far away - early June - there's the Apple Watch to look forward to and we just got a BMW i3, so I'm really enjoying that. Completely different from a 911 but very cool nonetheless and it gets a lot of stares and questions. Here in the Bay Area, there are thousands of charging stations and my company has free stations at work, so it's a pretty sweet deal. Access to the HOV lane too...

Chillax? No can do with the dream of a lifetime being assembled!

Reminds me I need to ask the dealership for pics of it in the car carrier and getting PDI'd!

LOL, well I play these games with myself, like walking through fire or something. In 2004 I got a new Boxster SE 550, a lovely car, and some ahole keyed the driver's side rear fender week 3 of ownership. I was... a bit chagrinned. But I decided I wasn't going to be owned by the car, so I was going to live with the scratch for 5 years before getting it fixed. Put it in my calendar and got it fixed five years and one week after I discovered it.
