Hi guys! I've been reading the forums in my quest to find my first Porsche and after a few test drives and many hours reading threads on this forum, I decided on a 2016 GTS. Luckily the dealer I'm working with already has one 2016 allocation! Will post my build after I get a chance to play with the configurator.
btw, I'm leaning towards a sapphire blue

Depending on how different the 991.2 is, Porsche always tries to sell out the previous model body shells via the GTS model. So it wouldn't surprise me if Porsche sold the GTS into 2016 until all the NA 3.8L's are gone along with the 991.1 body shells. As before you will probably see a 2016 GTS in the same showroom as a 991.2.

You better get er done! The configurator just blew out all of the technical specs for 991's. New motor on the way! And Rocket_boy. You nailed it on the 3.8 usage from here on out.

I didn't think there would be a GTS for model year 2016, thought that was going to be the 991.2 and all turbo(s) and PDK only. I missed getting a GT4 allocation, I was #2 and they only had 1 non 918 allocation. Sounds like a 2016 991 GTS is the last chance for a normally aspirated 911 with a manual transmission. I'll have to call my dealer if that's case.
