Opinions of this 991 Base Carrera
I'm deciding on which 991 and I'm drawn to the base models price point.

I like the option list on this one, it's loaded. Its billed as an "Porsche Factory Executive Demonstrator" which I'm not sure exactly what that means. Maybe the buttons have been pushed too much?

Be sure and check this vehicle out well. It looks like the same one on Ebay and it was listed as one that had hail damage from a storm they had. The salesman said that all was corrected with PDR but the hood was fixed and painted. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Good eye 2008Porsche, its this one on Ebay. Definitely same car.

Here's something interesting.
the ebay listing is "Certified pre-owned"
but...
I just got a return email back from my inquiry to the dealer.
The dealer said that the car can't be CPOd because it was a PCNA demo and has never been titled.

Could have been a factory loaner for that well known GT3 problem. That's what my 50th was. I am the 1st title holder and it came with a CPO. Sounds like your dealer doesn't want to pay for that CPO.02 T

the best deal out there is a top condition low miles preowned or heavily discounted new base 991 with manual transmission , when you can find one :

Could probably get it for less than 15K from what you're looking at!

I can't do manuals anymore, had my share, but I'm too lazy now.
I'm looking for a PDK 991 around 75k, maybe less.
I'm thinking there will be a lot of lease turn-ins coming in now.
BTW, the dealer emailed me back after I sent him the ebay link and he said "oh yeah, I guess the rules have changed and the car could be CPOed".

This is a pretty strong deal for 2013 w/ 9k miles + CPO. Only downside is that it is pretty bare bones. I strongly considered it from financial standpoint. I know they are firm on the price, though - which is entirely reasonable.

Personally, I think the car in Colorado even though it has had hail damage is a great buy with all the features it has. If they fixed it right and will CPO the car it might not be a bad deal in the low 70's. I decided not to pursue it because of distance and I wanted to buy an "S" model cab.
