The back story is the guy who ordered it really wanted a Turbo S but the dealer said it would take a while to get an allocation (I thought there were a ton of those around!). Anyway, the guy built this C4S to look like the Turbo S. Then a couple of months later….along came a Turbo S, so he traded it! Anyway, that's what the dealer told me!

Thanks again for the price estimate and other insights. No you didn't confuse me, well not too much!
seems this car sold today. good deal on the most optioned C4S i have ever seen.

Miles on the higher side at 34K, but the guy was a long distance commuter. I'd like it in the low $80's. Start making offers!!

Had it been a color like white, it would be selling at MSRP or just above.

Many PTS (paint to sample) colors are very desirable, and fetch a premium especially in the GT cars. Porsche hasn't made many PTS colors in the 991.1 GT3's. This is the classic Signal Green, and has many fans who will pay for rarity and exclusivity.

So you ask, would someone pay $50K over sticker just for a color? Ummm.. Yes, or very close to it on this Signal Green GT3!

STG Is this a good deal?
https://jack-daniels.porschedealer.c...34804/info.php

I'm thinking about trading my 2015 F80 M3 for a 991C2S. I Dont want to spend much more than the trade in value of my car.

I'm trying to trade my F80 M3 for a 991 C2S but I already took depreciation on my car, so I'm trying not to spend much more than the trade in value.

This is a great thread. I read it often even though I'm not at all in the market. One thing I notice is how few manuals appear. Do you think that's an indication of actual % production (manual/PDK), or are the lower production manuals rarely offered at a "Deal of the Week" pricing and are selling for more?

Thanks, and great question.

I'm an equal opportunity transmission guy here

Manuals have been a big hit with the GT4 and even GTS here in the enthusiast circles. Overall, PDK reigns supreme as far as production numbers go and customer demand. I've heard some quotes as far as numbers, but do not recall them. That's the only reason why you see as many as you do here.

Manuals are not selling for more $, actually they are harder to move for many dealers. If anything, not having the expensive PDK MSRP option helps with lower retail values a bit.

** Just looked at one of my saved searches for the 991S/4S/GTS's and looked at by transmission. On average:

4 to 1 PDK to manuals. My semi-scientific research. I'll try and find out more concrete numbers.

PDK sales exceed 80% in the USA. 90% in the rest of the world.

And why I didn't buy a Turbo this time nor a GT3 (no sunroof either). So, I ordered the PowerKit and tell myself it has close to 450 HP. LOL.
