Does anyone have information about the following car? I'm interested but some things are just weird:
1. Carfax shows no Servicing after 9000 miles.
2. Description says it was bought as a CPO...but it was sold from a MB dealer not a Porsche Dealer. Build Sheet does have a warranty Start date so maybe it was?
3. RMC Motorcars...seems like good reviews but not a Porsche dealer.
I'm in Boston and this car is in CA so it makes this process painful.

Nice build. I don't see the CPO warranty on the build sheet, though - I would take the VIN to a Porsche dealer and ask them to run it for you. You should be able to pull up when the CPO warranty expires (if it has one) as well as what warranty work had been done (but not all work, just warranty work).
Lack of service history would concern me. 37k miles is a lot of miles (although the price does seem to reflect this) - I bought a '13 991S three months ago that had only 13k miles on it.

I am pretty sure the car loses the CPO if going through a non-Porsche dealer. The CPO end date will usually show up on the build sheet, but not listed for this car: https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AB2A99DS120641
I recall reading that P-car dealers actually need to re-CPO a CPO?
Where are you in Cambridge? I live in Somerville, so if you see a Racing Yellow 991, it is probably me

My cars.com search for 2012-2016 991.1's in every variant "except" base models only shows 438 for sale. There are even probably like 20 or so 997.2 2012's in that mix too.
"Base" model Carrera 991.1's number around 300 cars.
Not alot of cars since the 911 was selling like 10K units a year in the USA. Obviously that # includes all 911's. Turbos and GT cars included. Those numbers aren't high though.
