Default 991S update

Had the car for about a month now..Managed to put 3k miles on it. Yes I am really enjoying the hell out of it. Coming from a 2014 Cayman S which I also enjoyed but as you can see I can enjoy this one with my family!!!
This is my 4th 911 and I am really impressed how great it is on all levels..
all the best,Joey

Welcome and congrats.
PS. The little one seems highly suspicious of all the joy around him.

his name is William(15 months)..I will say to him "William where is your Porsche"
and he always goes to it and gets on..Then I say where is Dad's Porsche..He gets off and walks to our garage door..We then go out for a drive!!
I have had 3 Boxsters and 2 Caymans and 4 911s but this is the best..Sharing this with him is cool..I am an older dad(just turned 50)..
The 2 seaters are fun but they would not work with a baby..Its nice to share this with him!!

I got so much flack for carrying my first son in the 2 seater! I know it's not the safest, but it was fun. I triple checked and the airbag was deactivated. I could no longer drive him when # 2 came around though so I ended up with the 991. But the first time he drove in the Boxster when the top came down, I will never forget the look of amazement in his eyes.

Congrats, happy the whole family is enjoying the car. My kids love riding in the 991, and especially love the sound. They've all pointed out to me numerous times that my TT is "much quieter" than my '13 C2S with PSE . . . and they're absolutely right!

LOL, my daughter came along 25 years ago; I got a Miata when she was 5. Wanted used (I'm cheap) but wife insisted we get a new 94 because that's when they added the pax airbag, and she wanted it to be as safe as possible!

But it's all good -- by the time they discovered the dangers of the pax airbag (maybe 3 years later) I was told to get rid of it (the car or the airbag.) I disconnected the whole airbag system, which allowed me to replace the ugly stock wheel with a beautiful 3-spoke Momo Competition!
