Default Input on new wheels for GTS

My GTS coupe on Carrera S wheels, and non-sport PASM, will be arriving soon. In the interest of lighter weight and looks (as well as getting rid of spacers), I'll be getting new forged wheels. I want to go with the Turbo S wheel widths of 9" and 11.5". Given these, I'd like to maximize concavity without creating any issues, or need to do something else. My question is how far can I lower the standard ET of 51 front and 48 rear? Thanks.

I'd recommend HRE or Forgeline; or you can go thru wheelenhancement also

+1. I worked with wheel enhancement to configure a winter set-up for my TT. They are super helpful and extremely knowledgable about adjusting wheel offsets and what set-ups will work.

They know their sh*t, are customer focused and are dealers for all the major aftermarket wheel brands ... its a no brainer IMO

Thanks for the feedback. I've been in communication with Wheel Enhancement on HRE wheels, and have received very useful information. I'm looking for input/feedback from any folks who have some personal experience/thoughts on the subject. In general, the input I received is that there is about 6mm of room to further reduce ET from those of the Turbo S wheels.

Have had two sets of HRE's on previous vehicles, but curious as to thoughts on ADV.1?

I don't agree with that...looking under my non-widebody car, there's at least 20mm the wheels could be spaced in before contact with the suspension or inner fender stuff...based off of a 68mm rear wheel.

Based off of the Turbo S rear wheel for the GTS (11.5" width and ET of 48), 6mm reduction would bring the ET to 42, which is a bit more than the 20mm you're noticing. So I think your observation is consistent with what I'm hearing. As you're referencing the widebody, I assume you're not saying there is 20mm of room for the front.

I have been pondering this issue too as there is set of BBS rims for sale with a 45 mm offset that look interesting. My concern is that Porsche doesn't spec 5mm spacers for the 305 tire / 11.5/48 mm rims on the Carrera 4/4S/GTS wide body cars - giving an effective offset of 43 mm.

This picture is of my 11.5 wheel with a 295...can see the extra room.
Now, I'm pretty sure a widebody car is the same aside from the slightly wider outer fenders...so, if I'm running 68mm & have an extra 20mm space & the stock widebody wheels are 48mm simply to fillout the wheel wells, I suggest you could run the inner rim back about 40mm for a 8-10mm offset.
Or something like that.
I have heard they're putting 12.5-13" rims on with 325-345 tires, anyway.
Not sure about the fronts...think at least 10mm less from quickly looking.
