Default Probably the best video review of the GTS...

Love this guy and his Porsche reviews. Raves about the GTS and the manual. Only 3 months till I get my hands on one

The sound of that PSE is intoxicating

Enjoy fellas

Great review. Thanks. Other than the manual, his comments reflect why I want the N/A 3.8. Love this engine and the extra 30hp is a bonus. Last and best of the breed IMHO. I am anxiously awaiting my own GTS in about 2 months. Have to give up my 991 S next weekend so I will be more than ready to step into the GTS. Just love the sounds it makes.

The video itself is nicely shot. And the music is not bad, either. My favorite car reviewer.

I agree with everything you said. My GTS is 6-8 weeks from delivery, depending on which boat it gets on.

Yeah, remember the PSE has been specifically tuned for the GTS and does sound a bit "angrier" compared to a normal S.

Down to about a month for me.....hope I can make it.....

Getawayer also does an entertaining review on the 991 GT3

I love this guy! Especially after this video! His comments are brilliant regarding the manual transmission! He's a great ambassador and I feel I'm not crazy for being a hardcore manual guy.
SAVE THE MANUALS!!!

I like his videos, but he's all over the place. In the GT3 video he's blown away because it's so much better than a S in ever way. Now in a GTS, he says who really needs a GT3 anyway. In fact, he's pretty clear that everything he likes about the GTS is equally applicable to the S, except the extra 30 HP, which he says is pretty hard to notice on the road, even when driven aggressively.

I also was unaware the GTS had a unique PSE, but I've seen it mentioned several times in threads. Any Porsche documentation for this?

He's excited about the manual, what can you say? It does enforce the fact that the S, GTS, and GT3 are all great cars. Easy to love either one.

The PSE is the same. Maybe different sounding at different times because of the power kit difference.

The one thing I took away is how fuc*king awesome the NA Flat 6 and PSE sounds. I never tire of that sound.

Yeah this has been noted a few times in reviews and by Porsche themselves... I think angrier is indeed the best way to describe it having driven both a 991S + PSE and my own GTS.

As above I think there are differences in PSE tuning but would take a back to back against a Carrera S + X51 to confirm. Either way agreed, NA 3.8 flat six + PSE is aural heaven.

Nice review.

I haven't driven my car since mid October, but that's how my C2S PowerKit car sounds like with the PSE.

Excellent video as usual from the Getawayer. About 3 weeks to go for mine.
