Hi guys - I'm snooping around at a used Porsche Approved 2012 991 C-S coupe with just under 40K highway miles to add to the stable.
Here she is: https://vancouver.porschedealer.com/...13369/info.php
Remember these are CNDs and roughly 20% higher than US prices so knock of 20% and you'll be there.
Couple of questions:
1. Any issues with the 2012, first year out? Good car?
2. It has no PSE. What's the common agreement on an after market exhaust for the 991?
Thanks in advance, any and all comments helpful.
Joel

1. A change-over valve has been the only issue so far (causes the heater to shoot out cold air instead of hot). You can check with the dealer if there are any open issues.
2. I have PSE with an aftermarket exhaust. Sounds great, but doesn't add up. If you're looking for the latter then PSE might not be a good option, but it does really bring the exhaust note to life.

Great color combo and I think it's priced pretty good.
Make sure they performed the 60km service before you purchase.
I would have liked to see full leather but if the interior is to your liking..... hop on it and enjoy.![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
BTW if you can get them to toss in some painted center caps that would be a plus.

$68,000.00 in US dollars huh?
Looks like around a 117K USD sticker price?
The miles are higher, but the price reflects it. I think the price is very fair. Try getting it a bit lower too! I'm sure they'll knock off some off the price.
CPO too which is awesome.
I wouldn't worry about a 991 whether it's a 2012.5, 2013, 2014. All the same reliability wise.

SharkWerks has two exhaust options. Check them out. Great products and customer service.

I would demand the mirrors be replaced with the GT3 style to stop the wind noise/buffeting and ask nicely if they couldn't have the wheels painted black or platinum silk gloss.....be about a $2k incentive

And maybe you'll notice this time how Carrara White is spelled and change your siggy. ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Nice looking car. I think PSE is a wonderful invention, because there are plenty of times I don't want to make a big audible splash upon entrance: in my 'hood at night, pulling into church, at the office, anywhere non-car people friends are standing outside when I pull up, accelerating from a light with a cop next to me, etc. And I think the 991 PSE sounds plenty aggressive when switched to "Loud".
Since you already have a Spyder with PSE, ask yourself if those things matter -- if so, $3k is a small price to pay for having it retrofitted to the Carrera. But if you never drive with it on "Quiet," then I guess you'd be better served by an aftermarket that's always on Loud.
Good luck with your choice!
