Hey Guys,
My name is Joey..I have been around this forum for years but never here..I have had 4 911s,2 caymans,2 panameras,3 boxsters...
I picked up a 2015 991S yesterday..Guards Red/full leather Beige..I traded a 2014 Cayman S and a 2014 Panamera..GOT KILLED on the trades but my wife was done owning 2 cars for herself..Her main car is a Range Rover and she wanted a 2nd car..the extra payment was a lot more than she wanted!!
I am still a little sick over losing 25k on 2 cars but this is where we are..Crazy enough,we manage to save money losing the other 2 cars..
Funny enough I was planning on getting a 911 after the Cayman lease was up in 17 months so it came sooner than I thought..The 991S was pretty stripped..Full leather,PDCC,sports chrono,manual..110k sticker that I managed to get for 102k so it lessened the neg. equity blow a little..
I live in NC and have miles of country roads and really loved driving the Cayman S on these roads..The Cayman is really a hoot and the Cayman GTS is even better..This said I am glad I have a 991..It is amazing how much more power there is in this car..I have a 14 year old and a 14 month old so we really need 2 cars that can carry kids..My wife told me that if I want a 2 seater than I also need a proper family car!!!..she is fine with the 911...
I just took my 14 yo and his friend for a drive..my boy loved it and said it much nice and roomier than the 997 was!!!
