Default Singer 911

Does anyone know the color of the gray Singer 911 that Sam Smith has been driving around and posting about? I believe singer calls it Indonesian 911?

If its a Singer 911 it could be any color in the world, they aren't exactly building factory replica cars. Assume you're referencing the Singer Indonesia car as all of their creations are named after locations... my guess is its related to the original owner or something but not positive.

A bit of Googling helps too, color on the Indonesia car appears to be dark charcoal grey.

Every one of those sons of bitches is just stunning. This has been my favorite to date. Orange basketweave? Who signed off on that? And yet...

Couldn't agree more. Very expensive but worth every damn cent.

I just don't understand why anyone would buy a huracan or the like when they could have a singer instead.

Don't care if you wreck it? Just go to Lambo and give them a few more ducats and you get another one. Not so with Singer -- at least not for a long while.

Seriously though, I am no garage queen car owner, far from it, but I would have trouble thrashing a Singer, as good as it would be to do so to one. It's just too darn gorgeous and one-off.

I suspect that if a singer is in the budget, a track car is too.

Oh absolutely -- already have that covered. But still, that superb little beast deserves to be thrashed, and I would have trouble doing so. And that would bother me.

But I could get over it!

This seems relevant... must watch for any Singer fans. Or any 911 fans period.

The singer is possibly the only type of porsche in the world that has any chance of turning ladies heads. It's like some amazingly beautiful and expensive handbag that they could totally relate to.

Whenever people talk about the last great/true/sports car 911 I always think of Singer. He's still building them. Nobody else can. At least, not in any great numbers. Try it, and the feds will come down, make you add air bags, turbo's, higher 5 mph bumpers, and before you know it instead of making the coolest rides on earth you'll be cowed like AP mooing about grams of CO2. No cows here. Eagles.

You'd probably have better odds finding someone that knows Santa Claus.

Unless I'm mistaken Singer has only completed a handful of cars, less than 15 total I believe...
