991 C2S tires, which wear first?

95 in north jersey sucks - I drive it all the time. Parts of it feel like driving a boat through mildly choppy water, constantly bobbing up and down. How fast is the vibration at highway speeds that you are experiencing ? If it is something tire related, the vibration is going to be fast at highway speeds (15 times per second +/-). The bobbing up and down on 95 that I have experienced is much slower than that.

Well then, ok -- a serious answer...
Expect the rears to be used up 2-2.5x faster than fronts typically... how long they last and being on the lower or higher end of this nominal range depends on your driving style. Roughly 2/3 of the weight of the car is sitting on the rear tires.

2013 C2S P Zero - I managed 20K on my rears, but 2 caveats. First, the rears probably should have been changed at 18K or so. It's not a daily driver for me so i wasn't in a hurry. Second, i think i'm old now and my driving habits are far too tame for a 991.
Fronts look really good still at 22K miles.

I'm at 10k miles and shopping for new rears. This was the case with the .2 as well. Unless you are driving VERY conservatively or using a non-spec tire, I couldn't even imagine that kind of range.

Don't worry I killed the OEM's rears on my C4S at 9k and the fronts were worn so oddly they were replaced as well. The Michelin PSS+ currently have shy of 15K and wearing very nicely. Will probably get another 3K out of them. BTW the wheel alignment was out big time when checked after new tires were installed which caused the OEM fronts to die early.
