We have a 2014 C4S Cab with about 10K miles. On recent road trip SC to FL observed the following. Outside Temp around started around 44 and ended around 60 F. Oil has around 5K miles on it (changed last April)

At constant 80 MPH in 7th gear PDK:

With Sport button depressed water temp: 194 Oil Temp 196-206 battery Voltage 15.1-14.1 Crept down 2-3hours into drive

With Sport button not depressed: Water temp 194 Oil temp: 226 battery voltage 13.6-13.8 Down shifting seems to not effect Oil temp by more than a few degrees

As best i can figure the dynamic Motor Mounts require the higher voltage

As RPM was same in either mode why the different oil temp? I am guessing but can't see the spoiler that it may extend further in sport mode? Suggestions? Should i be concerned?

I have the same in my 2014 C4S Cab. Sport button makes the oil temp lower and voltage higher. Water temp is always 194 because it's a fixed value - I don't think it shows the actual value (too many people would have anxiety and cause a backlog at the service department)

I think your results are normal.

When you depress sport or sport plus a extra radiator to cool the oil is deployed. As far as water temp goes once you are warmed up 194 is what you get, I have never seen 195 ...

Your coolant temps and oil temps are all normal. I get the same with mine. And I have the 3rd radiator for the powerkit. I don't know about your voltage readings, since I don't watch/display those as much.

I don't know why sport/sport plus lowers the oil temp. Not sure if it is an extra oil cooler in action or just the engine's thermal management program and the difference between a fully opened thermostat vs a partially open one.
