Hello all,

I have searched and can find no good pictures of a Dark Blue Metallic 991 WITH Painted Platinum Satin Wheels? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew

I'd like to see a DBM 991 with the 50th wheels.

The one above looks awesome though! And I'm usually a painted wheel hater.

That's my 911! Love the color combo. If I could do it again I would 50 times over. The red calipers really pop out too. I'll post some more pics in an hour.

Haha thanks, my second choice was actually silver with platinum wheels and espresso or red interior. Can't go wrong with either!

Attached is a pic that the dealer sent me on day one
Brake dust is seriously never noticable, and the dark blue is easier to keep clean than black (by a lot).

@lbcgolf, is that black / agate gray interior I see? By far the best combo for DBM and platinum wheels. Really goes well with it.

Also FYI for anyone considering this interior Keeping the center dial gray matches the two tone theme of that interior choice.

And thanks bccars!

Yessir! Yours too?

Surprisingly, my spec demands really proved to be too "different" to be on any dealership lot: 2CS Cabrio, DBM w/ black top, PDK, Sport Chrono and black/agate gray interior. The Platinum Satin Carrera S Wheels were my first choice, but I was flexible with that along with pretty much everything else. Originally I had thought it wasn't going to be too hard to find one.

But after searching and searching, I gave up and I ordered the darned thing to my exact specs. Then I figured that since they're baking it especially for me, I might as well hop on a plane and pick it up in Germany.

I see your point about the grey tach. 'Twas a happy accident for me!

Where's the OP?! Is he still searching?

Wow! There are some really nice cars and photos here. All the responses are very well appreciated! I am on the fence between DBM/Satin wheels and Agate/Satin wheels. But these photos sure will make the decision easier.

I see a lot of Agate at the dealerships, but never a DBM. Thanks!

Now I also have to look at the Black/Platinum dual tone interior!

Andrew
