There's a cool mount I saw in Amazon called the blend mount. Attaches to the mirror.

There are specs on there to see if it's compatible.
I have this mount in each of my cars. Very stable, very convenient.

Thanks - this was a valuable tip!

Has anyone who ordered the 9500ci had their card charged yet or received a shipping notice? I ordered Fri 1/9 and so far crickets is the only thing I'm hearing.. They didn't mention backorder, although I've read some comments about that in the forums... just curious if anyone's seeing any action yet on this model.

I had originally ordered the 9500ci but after some reading it seems the included LI sensors are no good against the DragonEye gun. The Beltronics STIR+ (identical to the 9500i) with not-included AL sensors seems better.

I originally ordered my 9500ci on friday and well and was told it would ship out on Monday but called to cancel.

Did you order any additional sensors?

When I talked to them on Saturday the 9500ci was on back order. The Passport Max2 I purchase has shipped to be delivered tomorrow.

You should have kept the order - I'm sure someone would have bought it from you.

I am coming the same conclusion as you - it seems the AL Priority laser solution would be better. Not sure what radar to combine it with though - windshield mount or the STIR+ you mention.

Anyone get any discounts on Bel similar to Escort (being the same company and all)?

I'm also in the Bay area. One shop I talked to was giving a $500 discount when you purchase the STIR+ along with 2 AL sensors. I think this is a normal discount. (PM me)

STIR+ = $1299
AL Priority (with a 2nd sensor) = $750.
discount = $500
Total (minus install) $1550

So $350 more than the 40% discounted 9500ci for a better unit

I think you can get the STIR+ on Amazon for 849?

FWIW, I think Escort owns Bel, so it is just one big cluster - eh, well, you know what I mean . . . .

This special is still on. You will need to tell them your badge number and company. Luckily I was there and kept my badge. Bought a Max2 just now for $359.97.
