2014 TT vs. 2015 GTS 4?

Also the Turbo is, well, the Turbo. As opposed to the GTS, which is an options package. Legend. Or package. Your call.
For me, I adore the turbo (all of them), effortless power on tap; quite addictive. I beat on mine, track and drag, and unless they roll out a crazy modded e85 consuming GT-R, or anything Underground Racing built I will destroying it. But keep in mind I'm 8 years old when it comes to this ****.
But looking at the value (not that it matters really with these cars at this point), you roll off the lot with the turbo the previous owner already took the bad depreciation hit. You leave in your new GTS and you;ll eat it. Again, if you plan on keeping the car it hardly matters. The exhaust note on a 991 NA is sublime no doubt, I had one with a full exhaust and I miss the sound, but I change that in a couple of weeks by changing my turbo exhaust and although it will have a very different sound I will love to hear those turbos spool all day long.

If you're undecided, I think your exposure is much lower with the TT. Buy it, if you love it, great. If not, trade it for a GTS. The TT has already been walloped with first year depreciation. Nobody knows the future, but I think a 2015 GTS has further to fall in the next 12 months than a 2014... which has already lost tens of thousands.
Yep. Kept us from a '14 TT.
The light bar across the back of the C4S is pretty cool as well.
That subtle difference tells me Porsche thinks it's kinda special.
Thank you all for your perspectives and suggestions. They quickly helped me sort through my mental fog. I decided that each of your suggestions was right ... for each of you. There was no wrong answer; I just had to decide what was the best match for me at this time.
Today, I reach a understanding with my dealer to acquire the 2014 991 Turbo. It will complete its CPO inspections on Tuesday and should be ready for me on Wednesday.
Two major points lead me to the choose the 2014 Turbo versus the 2015 GTS 4. One, the Turbo is a whole different level of car, both in the sundry details and in the car as whole (much as the GT3 is a different level of car).
And two, this particular 991 Turbo is a unique opportunity. The car has only 1800 miles on the clock, and is in pristine condition (I saw it being delivered to the dealer as part of a trade-in; before it was cleaned and detailed). It is a near identical match for my prospective GTS build. And it cost me less than the (discounted) GTS.
So ... will I like it less or more than the NA GTS over time? The next few months will tell. Until then, I am really anticipating New Years Eve!
Much more after I take delivery.
Thank you. (This is a great forum!)
