Disguised as a CPO? PCNA should bring the hammer down on them. Hard.

If they're asking 74k you might be able to get it for 70 or a little under. I bought a '13 cpo from a dealer sight unseen (although I did a skype video tour with the SA) and did not get a PPI. I figured the cpo was sufficient. ymmv. good luck!

Does Porsche have a rep.. in the process to sign off , I thought they did? Was the car actually a CPO?

Looks like the 991 C2 they have at Prestige in Denver? I'm in the area so let me know if I can do anything. That car looked nice, I understood it was a dealer car - they've had it for 4-5 months or more IIRC. Love the color.

Old thread but here she is. Put 6k miles on her since January 8. Love the manual transmission and everything else about her. Really quiet at cruise and growls when I get on it. Wife loves the sound of this car with the pedal mashed to the floor. Everyone has their preferences, but to me there is no comparison between this and my 997.

Hey, your car is beautiful! As someone who has been watching for the right 991 to come up on cars.com (and potentially purchasing long distance like you did), I'm interested in whether you ultimately did the PPI? It sounds like you didn't. The thing I'd be concerned about, even for a CPO, would be excessively worn brakes, suspension, or clutch, which presumably wouldn't be covered by warranty. I know it's easy to check brakes and suspension, but is clutch wear something they check at a PPI?

I didn't have a PPI done but got the full service history. New pads were put on as part of the CPO. Wish I'd have had it done as there was a bit of rash on 2 of the wheels but it's pretty minor.
