My 2012 C2S in racing yellow... But I had a second car at the time for winter driving and also for places I didn't feel comfortable taking a bright yellow 911. Then I realized I needed a 911 I could drive year round, got rid of the second car and bought a 2014 C4S in black. I love black but it is impossible to keep clean and I really miss that racing yellow
Racing Yellow looks great any time/day/place!

I am a bit biased as my Racing Yellow GT3 is sitting at port Emden awaiting transport to the U.S.
White is a good color on the 991, but when you're at your next track event, cars and coffee, or concourse white isnt memorable, it becomes just one of the "race car white" crowd.
A jelly bean color leaves an impression. From a drivers perspective when I climb out and take that look back, I like seeing something out of the ordinary, IMHO it evokes a personal emotional connection and makes my driving / ownership experience a bit more special and personally memorable.

+1 to Ryan's reply. I love my Guards Red, stands out even at Porsche events. Yellow, even more so. Was only one yellow at recent PCA toy drive of about 55 cars...T

Something about the 911 that it looks great in all these colors.
Have never been a fan of any of the "exotic" colors but you guys have won me over with some of these pics!

All you need is one buyer who likes Racing Yellow. By the way, why care about the resale value when you are buying a $100K car for YOURSELF?

I asked a couple of dealers back in 2009 when I tried to sell my 2006 Yellow Cab. They told me since it's in Speed Yellow, they had to offer me $2K less than the "low key" colors. I then told them I guess that's must be the reason he has over 10 used blacks/silvers sitting on the lot "waiting" for the customers.

Thanks for all the prospectives! After much discussion, we have come to a Mill Valley Accord compromise . Sapphire Blue. I'll be letting Bret know - assuming the car hasn't locked while white.
