991.2 tail lights

It's too soon to judge but I agree that the 991.1 tail lights have looked derivative of Aston Martin. While that might be fine for lesser Marques, I hold the Porsche 911 to a higher bar considering it's iconic history. As for the chromed rear grill- Smashing!

I'm a really big fan of the 991 taillights. I'm really quite anxious about the "facelift" new versions. At some point I just wish Porsche would remain a bit consistent for more than just 3 years. I mean, seriously - it's getting to the point where they are changing things just for the sake of change. The G-series 911 was around forever!

As you've seen, these cosmetic changes are getting carried over to all the models. What you've seen with the Macan, then the Panamera, now the Cayenne. They're all looking the same!
918 steering wheel style, sharper lines and body panel creases, more squared off versus rounded corners, headlights that have some sort of light design element, and new taillights.
