I use official Porsche touch-up paint because my car is an uncommon color. And I don't want to void the warranty.
I bought some "EZ Dabbers" to help me apply the paint better. It's been too cold to try it yet, but I'm hoping that those will help. It's gotta be better than those stupid brushes that you get with the paint.
Practice is also highly recommended. I used my former Audi S5 and M5 and her 328i to get my technique better to where I'm now comfortable trying it on the Porsche.

They offer a service for that on porsche.com if you dig deep enough.
Click service and accessories, then service, then after sales service then paint repair. It's almost as if they don't want you to find it I'm sure whatever they do is no better than any good paint/body shop and they might farm it out anyway.
Odds are they want way more money too, however I've been surprised how receptive they are to pricing if you approach them respectfully and armed with consumer knowledge.

When you use Dr Color Chip, mark near your active work spots with little blue pieces of painter's tape. The product works so well it's sometimes hard to find your touch-up spots when you go back to do the final wipe stage with the leveling solution.

last last question.
My car is a white 2013 Carrera S (2 wheel drive). Cabriolet.
Which "white" should I order?
The dr color chip website lists "Creme White", "Carrara White", and "Pure White"
but the porsche bulider lists "white" and "Carrara white metallic".
On my car, it is white, it doesnt seem to have any metallic. I sent drchipcolor my Vin but they dont seem to want to get back to me.
