Total newbie here, with a couple dumb questions. I'm putting my 2014 C4S cab into storage tomorrow. I'm planning on inflating all four tires to 50 psi.
1) Can I inflate the tires at the gas station (1.7 miles away) and safely drive home?
2) If we get a nice day with clear, salt free roads, I'm going to take the car out for a vigorous 30 minute drive. Should I deflate the tires to normal pressures, then re-over-inflate when I put it back into storage?
3) Do carpet squares under the tires actually do anything?
4) I was going to roll the car backwards or forwards a few inches every couple weeks. Pointless?
Thanks!

Be cautious with the "vigorous". Our tires don't have much grip below mid 40s.

2) put gas treatment in your full gas tank to keep moisture from forming
3) if you do take the car out for a drive definitely reduce the air in the tires
4) if you only store the car for a normal winter, 4 months or so you should not have to roll the car
5) cover the car if you have a good no scratch car cover
5). Plug into a battery maintainer, and let her sit through the worst of it.
