All my P cars have been silver. Currently I have a 997.1 C2S in Artic Silver. Beautiful. Remember that silver is the traditional German Racing color. So GT silver is a great choice. That said, I have a GT3 heading my way in Jet Black! Every car buff needs to have at least one white car and a black one at some point in their lives. I have done that. This will be my fourth black car. Both are tough to maintain but just gorgeous when clean. Maybe I am a glutton for punishment but nothing IMHO bests a clean, polished black car. My advice is go for whatever makes you happy.

How much do you want to be noticed? Given your two options, the GT Silver will attract more attention. No, it will. Without going into boring detail, the eye will be more attracted to contrast - which you aren't going to get with a black car with black wheels, etc. Both are nice options but what do I know, my first 911 was Speed Yellow and after that I went a bit further along the spectrum to Turquoise Blue.
