Default What is this?

I was cleaning the interior of my 2014 C2S this afternoon and took out the rubber cover in the rear center console and found this tiny access cover and opened it up. Not sure what I was expecting to find, but anyone know what it's for?

For the jokers out there who are going to say "seat ejector button", I don't have a sun roof.

Why, it ejects you out straight through the window!

Seriously, it's the button for auto-destruct sequence

You've heard the expression "Right on the button" haven't you?

Well, THAT'S THE BUTTON.

It's a secret car reviewer button that activates the PDDC (Porsche Dynamic Drifting Control) otherwise they won't know how to review it.

Hope it's the button that stops the 2500 rpm stumble!

Walterwu asked for information. In the absence of such he got child-like stupidity. He got nothing useful. This is not the theme for which this board was established. In the absence of useful information, try SILENCE. That would be most appreciated by all.

Dude, you're having a bad day today. Lighten up. Keep things in perspective.

Funny jokes are OK to this forum, at least if they're not insulting. We'd better lighten up, as LexVan has said above.

But what surprises me is that nobody seems to know what that red button really is. I don't know either. What is it? Anybody?

It's not a button. It's a painted bolt. I think Brad has offered the best answer so far.

And ignore "what's his name" as he's asking for his membership dues back because he does not like it here anymore.

That bolt is easy access. I wonder what that is for exactly. Anybody know or ask the dealer. I would want to know as well since have a 991 on order.
