Is there any difference between the centerlock mechanism of the 991 GTS vs 997.2 GT3RS?
I would love to use the RS wheels if possible on the GTS. (got a second set 18" wheels for the RS as the track set)
Forgot to add: I understand that wheel width and offset maybe different and pose a problem!
Thanks

I think the answer is "we dont know" - I assume that the CL mechanism is (either) the same as that used on the Turbos and/or the GT3 (I dont know if they are one and the same or not).
I recall reading that the GT3 CL was redesigned ... not sure if the 991 Turbos inherited that or not.
I think the only way to determine this is to take a GTS wheel off to see...![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
(has anyone with a 991 GT3 determined if there is any incompatibility in the mechanism vs the 997?)

If the GT3 RS is a widebody the offsets should work... don't quote me on that though. From what I understand the smallest you can go on a 991 is 19" but not positive on that.
As Larry mentioned we still don't know the answer on the actual center bore opening/sizing so will have to wait and see if the 997 GTS/GT3 wheels are a potential fit as a track setup etc.

I'm guessing they should fit... but its only a guess at this point in time I do recall there was some talk (somewhere) about design changes in the CL mechanism for the 991 GT3 ... not sure if this carried over to the TT/S and hence the GTS, but it seems more likely than not!

Now I'm curious if the GT3 wheels will fit on a GTS.
I'm I wrong in assuming that the Turbo's Turbos S wheels and the GTS (turbo S) wheels are the same? (many uses of turbo in that sentence)

We did but I'm not sure the info we have to work with is accurate. I asked my dealer, and his parts guy was not able to confirm yet.
