Default Different tire brands front and rear

There has been some debate about which tires are best but it is nearly always the case that the rears wear out before the fronts. So my question is if you could put Michelins on the back and leave Pirellis on the front until they wear out.

Never mix and match tires on a performance sports car. Especially a 911.

Run another set of Pirellis on the rear. After those wear out, switch all 4 to Michelin if you desire.

No, No, No! OK on a Toyota, NOT on a Porsche.

You're joking and forgot to lol right?

Never run mismatched tires on any car at any time. Just don't do it.
