consider it done sir, my pleasure ... I will try to post the photos either from LAX or when I get back home ... I'll be shooting with a Nikon DSLR and external flash so I should be able to get high quality images.

And the interior, alcantara wheel/shifter, door panels, and and and...

Will be interesting to see what color/options combos they have there too... anyone want to bet on a Carmine Red GTS coupe and GT Silver GTS4 cab?

I would be very surprised if they had any other colors other than those on display.

I don't think the steering and shifter are different. Porsche would've said something.

Well... the 997 GTS had a suspension tune that was not 'advertised' so you never know... but I agree without doing a back-to-back comparison its hard to be objective about such differences... handling/steering could also be as a result of the wider track of the GTS vs an S coupe...

only time will tell...

For the interiors, take a look at the current Cayman/Boxster GTS's. I was at my dealer in Ottawa, Canada and he had a Boxster with the Communication Package (Carmine Red) in it and a Cayman with the Alcantara/Leather & Leather Interior Package. They also had a Panamera GTS with the Communication Package in Rodium Silver. All gave me a good impression of what they would like in the Carrera GTS.

I imagine the stand cars at L.A will be configured with the comms pkg for both the Carmine & GT Silver cars ... sweet!

I don't think he didn't like the GTS cab. I think the point is that if you just want to have fun with the top down, the C2 is good enough for that. Not worth to pay the extra 30-40k for the GTS cab.

Also if they have a guards red or sapphire blue GTS please take tons of pics of those .

so why is the GTS coupe 'better' than a 2S?

Was it because its a cabriolet and the handling is flawed? was it the PDK, was it the 4WD, does he just not like sunshine?

It was a pretty superficial review leaving me with more questions than answers
