Sounds spot on. My dealer (who happens to be a Premier so maybe that means he gets extra allocations) told me my options for build dates before I even spec'd out my car. Once I put a deposit down I locked in the build date and that was it. (And as it turned out, the build date was moved up a few weeks so, while they may not be written in stone, a nine month wait may be a bit unreasonable.

Very sorry to hear this. As others have intimated, it's a shady but not that uncommon dealer tactic to retain a sale. Always make sure to get a commission number.

It depends on how many units they have allocated each month and how many people ordered ahead of you. Good news is your car arrives in time for summer. Perfect time to break-in cars if you ask me.
