There is a new Geyser MT7 for sale in Sloan cars with delivery miles, would be interesting to see how much they want for it!

Does not look there is a single option on it or is the US version better specced than the UK version where you have to add the packages to get satnav, rain sensor and so on?

My name is Zachary Forbes with Porsche of Nashville. Thank you for your inquiry on our 2014 50th Anniversary 911. I wanted to follow up to let you know that the 911 has been sold. If we do receive any others traded in, I would be happy to contact you with details on the vehicle.
Thank you again for your time. I look forward to working with you down the road.

Surprise surprise - yet another wild goose chase! Its not Nate's fault as he is just going by what he has seen on the web but as I have said time & time again most of these internet 50th cars in states are just that - cyber cars!
3 possibilities;
1 - 50th are really hot and they sell so fast (even 2 at a time) that web managers can't keep up!
2 - They are just a figment of sales managers imagination!
3 - They were sold a long time ago and are just left on site at attractive prices to drive up web traffic!
Feel sorry for anyone in states who is looking to buy one as they will have quite a venture to locate one that exists beyond cyber showrooms.

Some Numbers from Switzerland. I've found four cars for sale, two of them are new. Im not sure if these numbers confirm the theory. But of course I have not contacted the dealer as Mondrian.

My advice (as always) is to order what you want - exactly what you want, no more, no less. Buy used only when it makes economic sense, and to me, this does not make sense.

Well, since I can't order a 911_50 anymore AND I can't order a GTS with alcantara delete, full leather and deviated stitching AND I can't order a C2S wide body, I can't order what I exactly want, hence my dilemma.

I may not have been real clear. I'm not arguing against the 50th - I think it's a neat car - I'm just arguing that you shouldn't pay much of a premium for it in the used car market, and not to expect much premium from it when it comes time to sell it. It will be easier to sell, but won't necessarily bring more money.

Either way he is not going to lose out and will get what he wants, a RWD wide body retro look 991 with some unique features that will never be made again!

Guys, I love the idea that my awsome car could depreciate less than a regular 991. But when I look at the market in my country, I am sceptical. As I mentioned in a previous post, I found four 911 50th for sale in Switzerland currently. Two of them are new, I compared the the other ones with comparable 991s.
The first 911 50 is a Graphite Gray from 2013 with 17'200 km on the odo meter. I did a query on the biggest platform for used cars in Switzerland with the following parameters: 991 S or 4S, Coupe, 400 HP (as our 50th don't have X51), Year 2013, Km 7500 to 20'000 km. I found 11 ads with specified MSRP. Then I calculated the difference of MRSP to the price asked. The average selling prices were at 71,4 % of the MRSP, the 50 911 is on sale at 69.9 %.
The second 911 50 was first sold this year and has 2000 km on the odo meter. The two comparable cars (year 2014, 1000 to 5000 km) are offered for 75.2 % respectively 85.2 % of their MSRP. The 50 911 is offered for 83.8 % of its original price. Of course, the data basis is weak and a serious interpretation not possible. But these numbers definitely do not prove the less-depreciation-theory.
I tend to be on MJBird993's side. Its a mass production car, 1963 cars is not few. Since the 911 50 was brought to the market, two new limited editions were presented in Switzerland (Martini Edition with about 80 units, Swiss Edition with about 15). And one of the unique features of the 911 50, the grill, has been recycled for the GTS. I'm okay with that, because I love the car and I never expected to make a good deal by buying a Porsche.
What do you think? Is Switzerland just a special case? Are my calulations crap?

Your idea is sound but you always have to make sure that the data is correct too. The first unusual point about the data is that none of the four are showing on the Porsche swiss site, for me that's a red flag as its very very odd to have none in official used porsche dealers for sale but 4 on "other showrooms" and hugely discounted too. I say hugely as this is the first car that is 30% below MSRP anywhere in the world & this in one of the richest countries in the world!
I am not familiar with the swiss regulations but from what I hear Switzerland has very high prices compared to its neighbours and so many swiss drive German (or french/italian) registered cars - could this be a German car? Could it be a crash repair car? Things like this could easily explain why they are not for sale in Porsche showrooms.

Unusual the euro cars didn't come with the X-51 package and the US cars did. In the past it's usually been vice-versa. This could have an effect on want, asking and actual sales price.02 T
