The car was obviously designed with Carmine in mind. I love red and black, but as has been said, Sapphire will look just as good. Those are the two best "real" colors for this model IMO.

Anyone with mad Photoshop skills want to take a shot at changing one of the pics from Carmine Red to Sapphire Blue?

This really shows how orange Guards Red is. Carmine Red is a little closer to the red Ferrari uses, which is my personal (but not attainable) favorite.

My dealer has a Carmine Red Cayman GTS. It has a MSRP of about 110K BTW. I think the Carmine Red looks a lot better in the pictures in this thread then in person. It is not a bad color and does not have the orange that Guards Red has, but I was not overly impressed. If anyone remembers Imola Red on the e46 M3, it seems very similar to that.

No Photoshop skills here, but the black wheels on Sapphire Blue might alredy give an bit of an impression.

Here is literally a 2 min color range swap in Photoshop.

I guessed at the color.

Vetsky, would you please do a color swap for Agate Grey for this car and show it here? Please show the car from the rear side. I'd do it myself, but I don't have Photoshop. Thank you very much.

The Carmine pictures look HDR (high dynamic range) to me btw, which will give a bit of a different impression of the colour than what it will look in real life.
