Wolfjurgen - I did a reasonable amount of query on Alcantara wear. Steering wheel/MT shifter - not recommended - pilling, Seats - no issue with appropriate maintenance (regular damp towel cleaning - no scrubbing, yearly deep clean (no steam) and protectant). There is info from the makers of Alcantara regarding stain removal, and my detailer confirms that stains can be removed - but get on them quickly for success. With this info I took the Alcantara/Leather package but optioned the Leather SD steering wheel and CF/Leather PDK shifter.

Congrats Vice. Your car will be awesome. And now that your order's locked, sleeping will be so much easier! Enjoy the wait now with the rest of us.

Thanks all... I spent 2 solid hours last night going over different interior combinations but I kept coming back to my original config that I stuck with. It will be nothing if not bold/unique.

On with the wait but I'm sure with the holidays upcoming the time will fly by. If not I'll continue bothering you guys with multiple posts per day/hour...

So latest update, my car is status V300 (Vehicle Exit Production) and the estimated arrival at dealership has moved up a full month to January 29th. Aiiiii!

Bit of a surprise given I was targeting mid-March delivery so may need to rethink my plans... ie. winter tires sooner rather than later.

For sure although I was hoping to get it in the spring so I could get it properly detailed/protected. Still a very good problem to have.

I'm sticking with the ext painted interior ... now I'm agonizing over racing yellow seatbelts and a SD ducktail!!!

Latest update, car is at port and latest delivery date estimate is January 23rd!

That is give or take 5 days or so... if I get the car by early February I'll be happy. Should have the vessel info any day now too. Excited!

That's awesome. Can't wait to see real life pics of Sapphire Blue. My build locks on Friday for a February build, with delivery at the end of April.

post pictures ... I'm beginning to doubt my choice of painting the interior trim to the exterior color!
