Im not in love with the new MB GT looks but I highly doubt this car comes in heavy. And while the jury is still out MB has done a lot of work including hiring Porsche people to design this car so that it handles like a 911. Will it? Who know until we get to drive it. The sls weighs 3500 lb and the GT is small and they have made a lot of effort to get the weight down. I bet it comes in around 3200 which is only a 100lbs give or take over the 911.

I think in the original post, simple misprint. Should be 430 obviously not 530 for a C2S. I'm sure they will tout the big increase in torque. Not a good trade off for FI IMHO

I suggest you consult with your dealers, they just came back from a major sales meeting in Vegas. No FI on anything new for 2016, merely a cosmetic looks change. The Cayman gets more HP and homologation, though.

I'd think they'd finally unchain the Cayman and give it the 350hp the engine already makes, at least for the GTS, with everything else getting a corresponding bump.

Any hints on what the 991.2 cosmetic changes are?

Tail lights adapted from 918 Spyder, and the 918 Spyder steering wheel. Those are the two sure things. (Look to the Macan for inspiration.)
To be honest, I'd ha e been really, really surprised if they went turbo all around for the 991.2 instead of the 992 (or whatever the next gen will be codenamed).
