About to order a black on black 911 cab with pdk, pse etc for about 116K,: GTS comes long and it is a looker which is tempting me

I have a guards red 981 Boxster S pdk with pSE but will get a 911 cab

I am thinking is the GTS cab : power , handling and looks wise esp in carmine red worth another 21K over the 911 black on black cab i was planning for

Any opinions?

I also drive a guards red Boxster, Carmine red would be my choice, it'll look great with a black top. The carmine red GT3's, Boxster/Cayman GTS and Panamera GTS are stunning. But I have not seen one in person, just video and pics.

I have a C4S on order in Carmine Red, to be completed on Nov.7. Hope Porsche hasn't made C.R. a GTS exclusive color. Also, on the configurator, on the GTS C.R. is a $3140 upcharge while on my C4S its a $5500 upcharge for Paint To Sample.

"Is it worth it" is a tough question, someone like me will say YES every time. Others will not. But if you can afford the GT3 with the better engine and unique Hot as **** looks then go for the GT3 and ABSOLUTELY go with COLOR!!
Sorry for shouting, these cars get me excited.

Sorry but I cannot see the GTS except for ego. Cab to me is just not the vehicle that you really need or care about the extra power which is a critical part of the GTS package. It does have some cosmetic differences but from a money point of view I would go for the full leather and 18 way seats and still save a bunch of money.

I have to respectfully disagree; after all its all subjective so there is no right or wrong answer here, *but* if you happen to want to experience open top motoring as I do, and along comes a pkg that delivers wide body 2WD chassis and an extra 30bhp etc for the same price as the C2S cab I specced (minus X51) then I see nothing to do with ego, its a better value package... if getting more for the same money is egotistical then I am that.

clearly people want cabs with extra power - otherwise why the Turbo and Turbo S models?
