Default Impressive MPG

Amazing how frugal with fuel this car is...I got 36MPG on the highway the other day...better than a Honda Civic..

wow.. pretty nice. I've been getting 28-29 on my 32 mile commute.
I did notice that when I drive with the top down I get 2-3 mpg worse... obviously loses a lot of its aerodynamics with that big hole on the top.

Actually my 991 Civic DX gets 40. Sorry. Make that 1991 Honda Civic DX.
It is amazing though how much efficiency has improved along with performance.

I just recorded 30 Mpg in a 1100 mile trip at 75 Mph.

I may save money on buying the car by the year 2114.

I did a 60 mile all highway roundtrip yesterday and got 29.4mpg cruising between 60-80. I was impressed with that, 35 is really amazing.

34.9mpg ( so close!) on a 750mi trip. Avg speed close to 80 with the Econ button on the whole way.

For some reason people roll their eyes when I tell them it gets great gas mileage- like I am not supposed to care because the car is $100k or something?!

The problem is... to get that gas mileage the car has to be driven at low RPMs and that has been known to be bad for the longevity of flatsixes.

People may also react perhaps knowing that driving a sports car (one which likes to rev high) at low revs is not much fun. I am one of those people.

I don't know about low revs and longevity...and driving a sports car at 2K RPM on the freeway is just fine, now on the twisties...oh yeah...all the way to red

Got 32.1 on a 240 mile trip yesterday, and that included a fair amount of stop and go in town. Also included a little burst from 60 to 105. I think the mileage is phenomenal.

6 Mpg sounds like you had plenty of smiles on your face...
