Is it just me, or is Porsche trying to discourage PTS orders at + $5500? If so, it's starting to work on me. DBM is looking better than ever before for some unexplained reason.
BMW individual (PTS) starts at $5k also ... equally discouraging?

I forget what your spec looks like, does it include X51? - what would you do if you could get a C4 GTS for approx the same as your current spec (not including X51)?

hopefully we wont have to wait too much longer...

I don't think $5500 is too much - I fear VW fears it is too little to make it worth their time and effort.
My current spec is low $140s MSRP with PTS But no X51; around $155 with X 51. I wouldn't order PSE outside of package but of course would get SC. At $155K, I keep thinking why not just get the TT but I wasn't all that blown away by the TTS I drove - super fast but not all that super at stay out of jail speeds.

I could imagine a GTS coming in around 145 .... with PTS

If so, I'm on the list.
Hope you're correct.

That does include leather cover windshield washers with deviated stitching and rain guard, correct?

Yes but to really bling it out you have to get the secret deviated rear washer leather to sample available only on the dealer configurator.

Just visited my OPD to discuss picking up my car tomorrow and we spoke of the GTS... He says they are taking orders soon for March/April delivery...

Thanks for the info!

Yeah I had heard on the PCGB forums that some of the OPCs (Reading & London) had been contacting owners about the GTS...

My guess is that the ordering guide (& allocations) will become available when
the car launches Nov 18-20 which is 4 months before production commences
for Mar/Apr deliveries!

Yay ... tick tick tick

So probably February start of production. That almost certainly means an MY15 designation on this side of the pond.

agreed - which I think suggests this is 991.1 and less likely to be a facelift car.
