This reminds me: I (remarkably) remember setting in an engineering class thinking I would never graduate in time to save enough money to buy a reciprocating-engined car. This, when "the rotary" was going to sweep the automotive world.

I don't believe there's any reduced weight from the SDP vis-a-vis the standard OEM flipper spoiler.
