I just this last week found out I set my key wrong from the beginning. I was shown by the dealership to press set, then the number until it beeps, then set again, then the key button until it beeps ( I never knew to do that last step). This will set everything to my key that activates automatically when I turn the dummy key to accessory power without having to press the door preset button each time. I didn't do this at first and kept having to manually press the button for 2 years!! Felt like an airhead for awhile, but lesson learned.
