Wow, it seems as though I just joined this place and JohnD sent me my stickers! I was doing research on what turned out to be my Midnight Blue over beige 993 Twin Turbo.
I cant tell you guys old and new how much of a resource this place is. The wonderful opinions, the help that people freely give, not just in the 911 forums but all over the place. There are Gurus all over just waiting to help those who want an opinion or a bit of advice. I believe if you didnt want to have the manuals for our cars you could ask a question and have it as fast or almost as you could look it up.
So rather than go verbose on this I just want to thank all those where there when I needed them, those that became close friends. These Porsche people are amazing! They will come to your place at the drop of a hat to deliver a set of magazines! They will invite you to your house to replace your suspension, and let you spend the whole weekend there while all the neighborhood rennlisters will come over and help and PARTY!!! I dont know a better group of people than my Rennlist Porsche friends who all go to the same church of Porsche.
In that vein I hope I can help some fellow Rennlisters in the same supportive way. I hope I can be a friend to someone here who needs one in all kinds of venues whether its cars,sports, kids or life.
To those that we have lost, we miss you. Even though you have left us we still remember.
SO thanks Rennlist, Rennlist people, I am honored to have been here this long.

I have never been so underwhelmed by a response in my 11 years on Rennlist. You know I come here to help others and sometimes learn something. But I have had 5 911s and I come here to help those who may be on their first Porsche or maybe their first 911. I still find joy in the Porsche I own. I am grateful I get to drive it. I like to think I have something to give back.

 

11 years is 10.5 more than me... I agree this is a fantastic resource and one i have enjoyed throughout those 6 months. I only hope i get to 10k posts as i feel i have been bitten by the 911 bug now... Well done and i agree its thanks to all the contributors that make this a great place 👍

I have to agree, Rennlist has been a fantastic resource for me.

I've only owned one Porsche, and purchased it new in 2011.
It's a Cayenne, despite my desire for a 911, it will have to do for now.

Prior to buying our Cayenne, during our ownership, with many questions and tons of excellent responses I have been here on Rennlist almost daily.
