Pretty cool high speed attempts
These appear to be rental cars (the PF in the license indicates these cars are leased from Porsche Finance). The Avis 911 fleet all have plates with the "PF" and those are leased from Porsche Finance. End of lease (about 16,000 km's) they go back to Porsche and sold by Porsche.
After seeing this revving of the engine with relative cold engine I'm not too enthusiastic:

Did you notice how many times the guy shifted without moving his hands? As utterly insane as it sounds, some guys actually advocate for cars that require taking one hand completely off the wheel in order to shift! Wait! It gets worse! You also have to move your left leg around! Worse still! You actually have to take your foot off the gas for a second to do it! Or hit the rev limiter! Thank God this guy was driving a car with this new technology that enables the driver to maintain complete control of the car at all times, even when shifting! I mean, the guy did not so much as move a finger! And I know people have their pet features but I would hope we can all agree keeping both hands on the wheel while doing 150+ in traffic is a good thing.

I actually enjoyed watching this, as I would probably not have the nads to attempt that. It was fun watching though. I imagine he was driving in sport plus mode?

Chuck, you're already getting ridiculous,it's not even funny.
I really wonder how old you are, because usually 8yrs olds like to insist with the same arguments in hopes of getting a response. Or trolls? I don't know... I'm really hoping you're neither...
You are just ruining the poor man's thread...
I'm really sorry OP,your video looks like fun and it seems you are lucky enough to experience the car's full potential.
Thank you for being brave enough to post a video. A pretty bad idea IMO...I especially feel bad for those who are posting videos from the track. You see OP,some people lurking here are all Sennas and Michael Schumacher,so they'll find your driving mistakes very quickly and judge you for them.
Just my 2 c.
Good luck!

Just remember, Chuck911 is such an expert on the 991 platform, he can tell all of us how to wash, drive, DE, and Autocross it, without ever driving or owning one. Now, that's pretty stupendous.
cool vids, thx. I don't think I could trust complete strangers with my life like that (ie: cars in the lane next to you), but then again, this is Europe not the US. Gotta give the Europeans credit, they know how to respect the road and other drivers! Nothing like the douche bags over here, argh
I like the rubber steering wheel too, haha.
The car was in Sport+, you can see it illuminated in the steering wheel, if you couldn't tell by the noise, I'd bet the car has PSE too

yeah, if you've ever driven on the Autobahn you'd get the completely different mind set over there. its all about staying right over there, not speed control like in the US. Also when you see a flash, you get the hell over quick. Here in the US, when you get flashed a lot of asshats slow down out of spite. I like it much better in Europe.

Interesting response on the youtube video (for the 2nd one). I guess even the Bahn has it's share of 'hats

I was constantly slowed down by trucks, opels and soccermom cars just pulling out in the left lane because they'd rather slow down the far left lane rather than let off the gas for 2 seconds and the person go by. Even giving advance notice by a quick flash that im faster was ignored with some people flatout jumping infront to provoke you. For anyone who's driving on the autobahn they know what im talking about. Nice vid all around, unfortunately the GoPro doesnt really capture how fast 270 is and on winter tires thats just crazy ;P

There are certain Autobahns where traffic allows 300km/h or more - but you have to be quite careful because overall driving skills are getting more and more worse these days. The speed differential between the middle lane Renault Kangoos is very high - and these drivers often tend to not use the rear mirrors at all and lack the 'feel' how fast a left lane car is approaching.
We hope a future general speed limit could be avoided but political tendencies even of conservative parties might lead to a at least 130km/h in the next years.
