Agree, this will help 100%. Takes literally 5 minutes. I store the 5mm wrench in the tool compartment in case I want to make a fine adjustment.

Thanks Bret!

There doesn't seem to be anything obvious for a hex key to go into there. Lots of empty space that you can't see into.

The 5mm slot is basically straight through the opening about 4-5" deep. The first time you try to locate it you can easily remove the grommet and cap from the adjustment hole and look in with a flashlight.
After that finding the slot is easy and the grommet can be left in place.

Best, Bret.

Ok will try. It's the uppermost hole that has a hinged rubber cap, yes?

Bumping this thread.

I noticed tonight that my low beams seemed pretty low. I haven't driven the car out in the country at night very much since I've gotten it. The lights seemed low and the area directly in front of the car is VERY bright. I remembered that my old Acura was the same and I had to adjust the Xenons up. Same with my old Volvo. My lights do move and do the "dance" when the car starts. So they are working. They're just low.

I decided to start by RTFM and saw the section on headlight adjustment right away. But how many turns up? I know that there is a measurement in the manual, but I don't have 50' of level surface with a wall in front. On my other cars, I just turned them up until people flashed me, then turned back down a bit.

Anyone have any ideas how many turns I'm looking at?

Thanks.

I don't think you can reliably do this by turn count, and I too had trouble initially finding a good place to check this at first when I wanted to adjust my 997's aim.

My solution was to use an empty floor of the parking garage at our office building late in the evening after everyone was gone. I pointed the headlights towards the elevator shaft wall from the correct distance and used a tape measure. The gave me a nice open flat area and a nice vertical wall to test against.

Good idea, I will have to find a garage someplace.

I turned them up two times and went for a ride last night. Didn't get flashed and a noticeable improvement. But I will go measure.

I don't understand all the fuss. Find a dark road and pop the frunk and use a 5.5 hex and move the lows up a few turns. Problem solved. The Highs may point a bit high, but I use the lows 90% of the time now. Keep adjusting higher and test drive in traffic until you get "too many" multiple 'flashes" from on coming traffic. adjust if needed, Done.

Got it! Thanks to those who already posted on this. For future reference, this other thread was also really helpful - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...dlights-2.html. Each full revolution turn raised the top line of the headlights about an inch.
