Default PDLS Option Code 603

Can you order PDLS (option code 603) stand alone or do you have to order it through a premium package or the Bi-Xenon's in black (option code XEX)?

Go to Porsche configurator and play with whatever option you want there, if there is an option that has to be selected as part of a package - it will let you know as it won't allow selection.

PDLS is stand alone option (need a car though)!

I believe in the US it's not available as a stand-alone option for the 991.

Must be combined with Premium/Plus packages or the LED/Black Xenon headlights.

It's a stand alone on the 981 though...

No premium/plus on my car so the option separately on my window sticker read:

BiXenon headlights in black incl. PDLS $1,485

Interesting, so PDK option in effect costs more than listed?

But you had to get other option on top which in effect makes entry into PDK more expensive right?

That's a good question. I didn't order my car so I'm unsure. I have noticed that the prices for options are occasionally slightly different depending on how the car is "overall" optioned.

My 13 is a low optioned car in my opinion. I did learn that my car has SPASM. At least that's what I was told by the dealer that recently did my 10k mile oil change. I don't see it on my sticker. Lucky I guess.

Exactly. Since your car does not have either Premium package/Premium Plus package/LED Headlights, in order to get the PDLS function for the Bi-Xenon headlights you had to order the Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black with PDLS included. This stand-alone option paints the insides of the headlight housings black and adds the PDLS function.

Unfortunately the PDLS function itself is not a stand-alone option for the 991.

I believe you are mistaking PDLS and PDK with one another. Two completely different things here.

Don't worry bro.

I was just going with it.

Just filling PDK and PDLS requests!

Fortunately I have both so I'm cool with that.
