Why would I want to do that?
To answer the OP, I have E&D and I love it. I've had it before on other cars (BMW, Corvette) and loved it except on the Corvette when sometimes the car wouldn't start for no particular reason. Eh, Chevy...

And I can't let it die either...
So the time the BMW system is most annoying to me is when the car is in the garage and unlocked. You go to grab the handle to get in, and it locks on you because the side of your hand touches the ridges. After that, you have to un-grab the handle, wait a second, and then more deliberately grab only the handle to get it to unlock.
