Mahogany Metallic 991?

S wheels platinum. I'll have a separate set of wheels/winter tires for all but the worst weather, which is another reason to avoid PCCBs, IMO. I'm not at all trying to copy the Club Coupe - I just had been wanting a green Porsche since I have never had one (Grand Prix White, Arena Red, Venetian Blue, Pastel Yellow and Mahogany) and didn't feel gutsy enough to order Viper, etc. I like the non-metallic greens better than the metallics (except maybe dark olive) and was pleasantly surprised to see that Brewster was released for regular PTS. When my Anthracite build got delayed and the owner of Porsche North Olmstead very graciously offered me a September PTS slot with no penalty other than not having the car till fall (thanks, Bernie!), I grabbed it.

This quote is very encouraging. Thank you, Keadog! Yes, I should definitely order 991 in Mahogany. I was on the fence between Mahogany and Anthracite Brown. Now, I think Anthracite Brown looked somewhat dull.

I vary the color of my cars all the time. I can never settle for one color. Right now, I'm into a Brownish tone.
By the way, did you buy your 991 in Japan? Isn't it much more expensive to buy a Porsche in Japan than USA? My previous Porsche was purchased in Korea, and it was so much more expensive than USA. So, USA-based Porsche buyers should be thankful, I guess.

I don't think you can go wrong with either color. You should try to see them both in person, in varying lighting. I had Anthracite on order before the delay convinced me to take the PTS order. Anthracite is NOT dull - it's also a very intriguing color. The Configurator is remarkably poor in portraying both of these browns.

I own an Anthracite and like it very much. I looked at the Mahogany and it was a hard choice. I loved them both but had to only order one. Either way they look great with espresso cognac.

I paid $140k for C2, though I understand that they are the prices for new S or 4S in the US. For turbo, prepare to pay $200k plus for one.
